Intended for the intermediate crocheter or advanced beginner with basic crochet skills who is not afraid of trying new techniques. Chain, slip stitch, single crochet, double crochet and front post crochet and back post stitches are used in this pattern. I have added many photographs of the hat in progress and also a help section as appendix with step by step pictures for the front post and back post stitches.

L and K Hook and medium weight 4 yarn suggested. My pattern is based on a "Red Heart Super Saver" yarn which is easily obtainable almost anywhere in the USA. US crochet terminology.
